                                             designed by Kay Cloud

                                                            I love this pattern!

Remember when Dee was working on this Rug

This is a original Kay Cloud Pig

Morris is so hot and just waits for the night.
It is so hot in Crest today I have been so sweaty all day! It's a job trying to keep cool. I start out the day using the fan and then I have to switch to air conditioning. It's going to be in the 100's this weekend in Crest Oh Boy! I have a routine I wake up in the morning about 730 have a cup of coffee race around the yard watering before the temperature gets too hot. By nine in the morning it's too hot to enjoy the outdoors until evening. Then I am inside working on my projects. This morning I watched an old black and white movie called Rebecca it was a good old movie. Sorry for complaining about the heat but what I would do for snow.

TA DA!!! I am done knitting Hubby's socks!!!

This afternoon I have been sewing my buttons on my Sew Primitive Quilt and quilting the blue house in my quilt. I am entering the San Diego Quilt Show this weekend. The show is in September but you need to send in your entry form this weekend. The things I still have to do is take a picture of my Primitive quilt, take measurements then describe my Primitive quilt. Yikes! I could enter a second quilt but since I still have to do the binding on the Sew Primitive quilt, mean while there is also another primitive quilt that Morris is laying on plus work on my Hobo quilt squares that's enough for me. I don't want to give myself any more pressure.Oh also
I really need to get back to rug hooking my cousins primitive rug.I miss hooking.

Your little turned out well and Dee's round bird rug looks very nice too. I've never seen a Kay Cloud pig but I think that he has a royal snout. I love it.

The heat must be unbearable, I don't know how people can endure such high heat day after days. Poor Maurice, He must be so hot with that fur coat.

I love how he poses beside the pair of socks, as if to tell us that his fur coat matches the colors in the socks. I love them and you did such a great job.

Good luck with the rug show. I'm sure that you will bring in a prize.

Here it was really hot and this weekend we are freezing our butts and had to light the wood stove can you believe. I had to wear my fuzzy PJs and put on an extra blanket on the bed, no kidding. Weird weather for summer.

Wishing you some relief from the hot weather.
Hugs,
JB

I'm very envious of your magnificent knitting of the socks. I know how uh, knew how) to knit but it was years go and was sweaters. Never did I knit socks and tried about a year ago and just could NOT get it so gave away my variegated yarn to a friend.

Love the pigs and the hooking.

Hi Saundra,It's the pattern that helps. I just do simple easy patterns.I just focus on socks. LoL.Plus if I get stuck I ask my knit teacher. That really helps! I am missing hooking and I have to get to my rug! Cheri

Those little piggies are adorable. I don't think I could stand it in that heat. But I supposed I would have air conditioning. We usually only have a few of those unbearable days.
