Rug Hooking Tuesday at Country Loft

Tuesday it’s Rug hooking group at the Country Loft in La Mesa.

Maulie needed a hair cut so I dropped her off at the groomer and went to see what the ladies were working on. This is the Rug hooking group that does other projects so it seems like one big show and tell .

                                                        Stephanie found this old doll
                                                Isn't she great!

                                                            Her head is hard
                                                            One arm was replaced

                                                          poor doll toes
An old photograph I think on tin
I put the picture on the trunk to get a good picture of it
without the glare.Stephanie brought this in.

                                                      Cheri Payne quilt

This quilt is so pretty This is just a part of it
I am not sure if this is a block of the month or not

       love these blues

This is a part of a quilt that Janice just finished
This is all handwork
What Pam is working on

the kids in the first picture are so sour looking yikes! the doll is great is she russian? Great quilts and rug hooking projects. Sounds like a great day to me.

Maulie, smells so good! The doll isn't russian .I think Stephanie found her in a antique store. That old picture was funny but I have some old pictures not as old with kids looking sour so maybe it's the sun in their eyes.Cheri

The doll is wonderful....so well loved looking too!! I love her shoes!! Great find!! I also love the tintype photo! They had to stay in a pose for so long so that probably explains their expressions!!
The shop looks like a fun place to get lost in and all the projects are beautifully done as well!!
Maulie is just precious too!! My springer spanial used to get bows too and they were in all of 10 min. max!! Adorable!!
Thanks for the great post!

Hi Julie, It is fun to go to the Country Loft to take classes. That's a good reason for sour expressions. Lol Cheri
