A very odd strange day

What a weird day went to the post office and mailed the Heavens to Betsy wool give away and then my husband came home went to the computer desk and promptly took my camera. Next thing I know he downloads a picture from his truck. While driving to work he noticed a bird flying erratically the bird was in the middle of a fast two lane road and it was flying high and low and then all of a sudden it dived at my husbands truck and hit  the the passenger window. He does not know what happened to the bird but look at this image. Very Strange ! My husband told me it happened on the way to work and when he drove by the spot on the way home where it happened it was gone so I think it flew off .

Oh but the good news is my wool came in .I can finally do my background on my rug that I designed. Cheri

Wow, that's quite an interesting imprint of a bird. He must have been full of tree pollen to leave this imprint on the windshield.. You should hook this image, very unique. JB

I thought it was unique too. I wasn't sure if I should post it but it reminded me something you would see on a fossil. Cheri

That is amazing! There must be a website where you could post it for strange phenomena. Your husband must have been kind of freaked out by that! Glad it didn't do a lot more damage and your husband was not hurt!

My husband said it was strange and when it hit his truck window it really startled him. It reminded him of The Birds the Alfred Hitchcock movie.

Freaky! That must have scared the daylights out of him. I hope the bird recovered. It's a wonder more birds don't get hurt, the way they swoop across the roadways.

Hi everyone that sounds so weird Cindy Bee,You sometimes wonder is there some things in the air that affects birds that we don't see.
Today I am going to wash my wool and start hooking my background. Tomorrow I am taking a trip to an Iris Nursery that is open this time of year. I hope it's blooming I'll be sure and take pictures.

Hi,
I just came across your blog and love it. I hit a dove on the freeway one time, and when I got out and looked at the front of my suburban, there was a full wing span inprint of the bird on the grill. Freaked me out! Must be some coating on the birds that does this.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you I love the picture of the kitty and dog looking down over the yard. I had to sent the pic to my daughter who recently bought horse property here in Shadow Hills, a previous rooster ranch, that needs lots of fixing up. The view looked like her property. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Kathy and Mindy, I think there must be coating on birds this time of year! It's weird. My house is 80 years old and was originally a cabin.I have always wanted to live in an old house. I am glad you are inspired by my country look. You should have seen my house when we bought it there was only big Euculyptus trees no flowers. Cheri
