San Diego Rughookers Christmas luncheon

A Christmas luncheon of rughookers is always fun this time of year. I wonder what the people at Olive Garden thought as we stood there sharing what we all had made this last year. Pam Kay had just finished quilting my Cheri Payne Folkart Gathering quilt which I truly love. I am now busy hand sewing the binding so I can display it on a wall. This was definitely my year of quilting. There were examples at the luncheon of cross stitch knitting quilting sewing and of course rughooking.Enjoy the San Diego Rughookers luncheon I sure did.
I almost forgot I just had to brag about my Iris at the end of my post it bloomed in December.

My Christmas rugs coming out of storage

Hello again it’s me

I am watching The Crown mini series while getting out my Christmas decorations to clutter my home with happy memories. It is definitely a two day set up plastic tubs are scattered everywhere. A fire is going in my wood burning stove and I need to grab some more fire wood.I can’t believe it’s December already.

This is an old picture of my Christmas decorations.
I am glad I had it in my photo labeled favorites it makes it
easier to decorate.I guess I will have to move the angel.

We went camping this last weekend and it rained most of the days. On the one nice rain free day I took Maulie to the dog park she was not having it.Were going again camping  this Friday but my little grandson will be with us. I decided it will be impossible to rug hook so we’ll paint Christmas rocks to leave at the campground. It’s a thing people do where we camp.

I have noticed if I put a time limit on getting something done I get more projects done.

This is my next project to get done.I have about 27 more blocks to do of the main part of the quilt. This is what it is suppose to look like minus the line in the middle.

Today was our Christmas rughooking luncheon I will post the pictures next week.
